The LUMIX S5IIX also makes it easy to shoot video on the move. Active I.S. determines the status of camera shake and optimises correction ratios to compensate even for significant motion, while advanced E.I.S. suppresses peripheral distortion that occurs during video shooting. So now you can capture beautiful images, even if you need to move quickly while the camera is rolling

Proxy video recording

This new feature records a low bit-rate proxy file when recording video. Simultaneously recording a proxy file that is linked with the original video recording enabling a faster delivery from production to post.

Native Camera to Cloud Integration with Adobe's Frame.io

With Frame.io Camera to Cloud, creator's images and videos are automatically uploaded, backed up, shared, and worked on jointly via the cloud.

RAW video data output

The LUMIX S5IIX enables the output of RAW video data over HDMI to save it as ProRes RAW on ATOMOS NINJA V+, NINJA V and Shogun CONNECT HDR monitor-recorders. The Blackmagic RAW can also be recorded on Video Assist 12G HDR

External USB SSD recording

With the LUMIX S5IIX, recording and playback is supported using an external SSD via USB. In addition, the ability to record ProRes 422 HQ (maximum 1.9Gbps) and 4:2:2 10-bit All-Intra directly to SSDs, which combine portability and high capacity has improved efficiency in data backup and post-processing.

Heat management for unlimited recording time

4:2:2 10-bit C4K/4K 60p/50p unlimited recording time. With a compact body equivalent to the S5, the LUMIX S5IIX's new optimised heat dissipation structure enables extended recording even when shooting at heavy loads (e.g. high-resolution video over 4K, HFR video).
